From A Users Point of View

==========
02:27 :+tony-the-hitman: there will be INSTALL documents and README. should be very simple to do.
02:27 :+tony-the-hitman: right, no slapt-get approach
02:28 :+tony-the-hitman: i am not sure what slapt-get does exactly I always use native pkgtools but i think it gets/builds/installs automated
IIRC.
02:28 .:+slackGuitarman: slapt-get grabs binary packages
02:29 :+tony-the-hitman: ok maybe i used it once, wait that was slackpkg i tried.
02:29 .:+slackGuitarman: but... i think as a slack user and this is just me, if there was a: ./installStudioware.sh script that pulled down
all the packages etc that would be handy
02:29 :+tony-the-hitman: yes, that is how we do gware
02:30 .:+slackGuitarman: i use slackpkg to keep the system up to date with patches
02:30 .:+slackGuitarman: and sbopkg for additional software on slackbuilds.org
02:30 .:+slackGuitarman: i used to d/l manually etc from slackbuilds but sbopkg really makes it less work
02:30 .:+slackGuitarman: but still keeps the dependancy control in your hands
02:31 .:+slackGuitarman: anyways i look forward to trying it... i setup a slackware media station before - once by myself and once with the
slackermedia queue file
02:31 :+tony-the-hitman: gware.org hit the donwload link and you can see under INSTALL... yes eviljames has a good plan for distributing with
sbopkg
02:31 :+tony-the-hitman: and que files
02:32 .:+slackGuitarman: cool yeah i see your gware link thats a good way to go
02:33 ~>+slackGuitarman<~ tony-the-hitman: sounds good
02:33 .:+slackGuitarman: alright - i better hit the bed
02:33 :+tony-the-hitman: me too
02:33 .:+slackGuitarman: gettin' sleepy
02:33 :+tony-the-hitman: later
02:33 .:+slackGuitarman: laters
02:33 ... slackGuitarman :~guitarman@192.168.0.1: has quit (Quit: leaving)
